M8, the Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius, photographed from eastern Oregon during OSP '99.
12" F/10 LX200 SCT
45 Minute Exposure
Unhypered Fuji 400 film.
Autoguided using Pictor 216XT stand-alone mode.
NOT a very good photo. I wasn't able to get hypered film for this trip so I had to settle for some off the shelf film. The exposure wasn't long enough to pick up much and its grainy. The Kodak Extapress 800 was much better unhypered.
