CARLYLE EXPEDITION PREPARES FOR
CAMERA SAFARI IN KENYA
After two months of excavations at Giza, Sakkara, and Dhashur, the Carlyle Expedition is preparing to take a well-deserved holiday in Kenya. Expedition spokesman Dr. Robert Huston stated that the summer heat had made further work impractical, and that the approaching Nile flood would inundate the next site of interest. The sudden illness of Mr. Roger Carlyle also necessitated in change in climate. Noted Egyptologist Sir Aubrey Penhew has refused comment on the persistent rumors that the Expedition has made a sensational find relating to the Third Dynasty but did state that the Expedition would return in the fall to continue its work.
