Immigration:

1.  What is your nationality?
2.  What is your occupation?
3.   What is the reason for your visit to the United Kingdom?
4.  How long do you intend to remain in this country?
5.  Are you the bearer of a communicable disease?

Customs:

1.  Tobacco in excess of ½ lb. is dutiable and must be declared.
2.  Spiritous liquors in excess of ½ pint are dutiable and must be declared.
3.  Perfumes in excess of ½ pint are dutiable and must be declared.
4.  Chocolates and sweetmeats in excess of 1 lb. are dutiable and must be declared.
5.  The importation of foreign reprints of British copyright books is not permitted.  Any such items will be confiscated and the bearer fined.
6.  The importation of firearms and explosives without the proper permits is expressly forbidden.  Such items may be left at Customs and reclaimed upon departure from the United Kingdom.  Unauthorized importation of such items is a criminal offense, punishable by up to 1 year in gaol.
