TREATY OF SELGAUNT, 1361 DR

1. Suzail recognizes unconditionally and without reservation the independence of the Archclericy of Arabel and the authority of the Archcleric throughout those territories.

2. Suzail cedes to Arabel the provinces of Hermit's Wood and Kirinwood, with the exception of the town and fortress of Dawngleam and the land within 5 miles of said fortress.

3. Suzail pays a war indemnity of 5 million gp to Arabel, in return for which Arabel drops all claims for damages and compensation.

4. Suzail pays a war indemnity of 100 000 gp to Sembia for damages incurred by the towns of Hommlet and Nulb.

5. Sembia cedes to Arabel the town of Hommlet and all territory within 20 miles thereof, as well as the province of The Vast Swamp, including the shire of Nulb, in return for which the Archclericy pays Sembia 100 000 gp.

6. Suzail recognizes the independence of Westgate and the authority of the Battlelord of Tempus in Westgate.

7. Suzail recognizes the independence of Proskur and the authority of the Council of Seven in Proskur.

8. Suzail guarantees freedom of religion to followers of St. Cuthbert throughout its territory.

9. Suzail restores all property seized from the Church of St. Cuthbert.

10. Arabel guarantees freedom of religion throughout its territories, with the exception of followers of Iuz, Zuggtmoy, Lloth, Talona, and Cyric.

11. Arabel and Suzail agree to resume free and unhindered trade and travel between their respective lands. No punitive or prejudicial tariffs or duties are to be levied against citizens of either land.

12. Arabel agrees not to contruct or maintain a naval force on the Lake of Dragons.

13. All prisoners of war are to be freed without condition. All personal property belonging to said prisoners, with the exception of weapons, armor, and other implements and adjuncts of war, are to be restored to them.

14. All provisions of this treaty are to become effective immediately upon ratification.
