Several basic elements are core to Plateau Fashion. All expedition members have packed light beige pants for everyday wear.
The pants are very comfortable relatively easy to care for. For nasty stains, e. g. raptor blood, the services of the dry
cleaner at the Zanga Mall may be needed. Marguerite likes variety in her wardrobe, so she alternates between beige pants and a beige skirt.
Light shirts and blouses in blue and white are also favorites for both male and female expedition members. The color scheme
tends towards pastel colors, e. g. lavender, blue and white for Marguerite, and white and blue for the male expedition members.
Our male expedition member have unicolored and striped shirts, thus bringin a welcome degree of variety to their daily
wear.
Roxton has been seen in a shirt with red stripes which has met with some criticism from female fashion experts. The
Fashion Plateau has asked fashion experts from around the globe to give us their opinion and we're glad to say that many have
been vocal about the pros and cons of the red-striped shirt.

Hats are a must on the plateau for most expedition members, hardly a day goes by
when Roxton, Marguerite and Challenger are not putting on their elegant head wear. Seeing Lord Roxton without his hat is usually
a sure sign for a major crisis. Even taking a mud bath as a skin rash remedy will not cause Lord Roxton to take off his hat.
The only person that practically has never been seen with a hat is Ned Malone. He wore a hat only once when he and Professor
Challenger disguised themselves to fight against the evil Voodoo Queen (see also Fashion Hall of Shame). Lord Roxton saw Ned Malone wearing a hat in an alternate reality, but that
was actually another person who just looked like Malone. Evil Johnny Ringo was a far cry from our sweet-natured journalist.
We have not yet found a final answer to Ned's hatlessness, but there are some indications that he is refusing to cover his
head, since he went through traumatic war experiences in the Great War. He experienced the horrors of war, while wearing a
military cap and it seems that his subconsciousness has made a close connection between headwear and bloodshed ever since.
