Style Essentials - The Fashion Avantgarde

While we applaud the explorers for their classic style and their commitment to great hair and clean clothes even under extreme duress, we have to admit that they are not exactly pushing the boundaries of style. The Plateau Fashion Avantgarde constitutes of a small number of progressive thinkers, who give new meaning to the word New Look. It remains to be seen, whether the explorers will be influenced by their encounters with these people and expand their wardrobe to include trendier items in the future.

It is a bit surprising that none of the explorer has shown much interest in adapting some of the fascinating native styles. So far none of them  have gotten any tattoos or branched out of their favorite color schemes. Especially Marguerite has worn native outfits, when the situation required it, but she has never been seen wearing them at the Treehouse. Much to the chagrin of Lord Roxton, who was overheard complaining to her that the nice outfit in which she seduced a giant would be a welcome addition to her wardrobe.
The natives on the Plateau have shown tremendous skills in adapting clothes to their environment (Keeran raiders) and they have also perfected the art of tattoos and body painting (unidentified tribe, Kanu). And let's not forget the looks of Plateau residents and guests, which are just out of this world...
