Since he came to the Plateau George Edward Challenger has been freed from the confines
of academic society and led a life that is devoted to academic and follical freedom.
Just like his mind is free to develop new theories without any naysayers present,
his red curls have also found freedom from stylists and barbers alike. We asked Professor Challenger why he decided to let
his hair grow. Here's his answer:
George Edward Challenger: "Young lady, I'm a scientist, do you really think I have
time to visit a barber when the mysteries of the Plateau need to be unravelled? The occasional explosion in my laboratory
takes care of overlong hair."
We're not quite sure whether we agree with this rather drastic approach to hair
cuts, but we have to admit that Professor Challenger's hair looks very healthy and shiny.
