Proper Core Etiquette
- Rules that apply to other areas of life generally apply to
behavior in the Core also.
- Remember that Chron X is populated with a very diverse
population, across race, gender and age. Keep that in mind
while you're in the Core.
- In general, don't hit the button for requesting a game or a
trade unless the other player has already agreed to
it. Otherwise, it could be viewed as being pushy or
inconsiderate.
Note: some players prefer to use game or trade requests as
a way to get their attention when they are not paying close
attention to activities in the Core. Such players can be
easily identified, since they generally put a message in
their public tag to the effect of, "Challenge me for my
attention."
- Using all capital letters to type out a message is generally
considered the equivalent of shouting. The one exception
is during tournaments, trivias, and other organized events,
where the organizer will use all caps so that the messages
will be easily noticed by everyone. Please avoid using all
capitals, especially during one of these events and you're
not the organizer.
- Avoid doing things in the Core that are disruptive to the
chat. This includes flooding the chat area with messages.
- Don't create new rooms in the Core simply to advertise some
silly, childish message.
