Youth Activities

Our youth activities promote our values and help build lifelong friendships.

Every last Sunday of the Month is our youth sponsored mass at 11:00 a.m. Please come and support the youth participating in the celebration of the mass as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Cantors, and Ushers.

The church offers several activities for our younger members. Some of the more popular activities are:

Rosary-4-Life

The Rosary-4-Life has moved from the second Monday of the month to the second Wednesday of the month beginning April 8, 2009 from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Join us in the rose garden to help end abortion and to be the voice for the helpless unborn. We, the youth of St. Joseph, have come together and we need your help in order to spread the word of injustice that is occurring every day.

Passion PLay

"The Way of the Cross / El Viacrucis"

The Youth of St. Joseph have come together as one to invite you to the reenactment of Jesus’ last hours before his death. The English performance will be held on Friday April 3, 2009 in the auditorium. It will include the Lenten Soup at 7:15pm followed by The Passion. Sunday April 5, 2009 at 4:00pm in the Auditorium will be The Passion performed in Spanish and our last performance will be on Good Friday April 10, 2009 at 5:00pm in the Auditorium which will also be performed in Spanish. Come and support our youth and witness Jesus’ never ending sacrifice.

Here are some of our altar servers after a wedding on a Saturday morning

Youth Nights will now be held on Wednesdays Starting on April 1, 2009 from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Emmaus Room. Make and meet new friends all while having fun learning about your faith! As a faith community, the teens grow in understanding what it means to be a young Catholic in the new millennium. The teens are affirmed, educated, and challenged to live the gospel. Youth Ministry Wish List

The Youth Ministry Coordinating Team has compiled the following Wish list. It includes items that the ministry would like, but are hard to acquire due to budget limitations. 100% of your donation goes directly to the area in which you specify and is tax deductible! Some of the items needed are:

- crafts supplies (paint, posters, brushes, markers, construction paper, etc.)

- PA system and microphone.

Any donations including monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you very much and God bless you!

Youth Volunteers

The youth ministry is looking for adult volunteers. If you are a charismatic and outgoing person on fire for Christ then this is the job for you!
