We are avid (maybe even rabid) fans of the PWBA Ladies Pro Bowlers and we enjoy getting to spend a lot of time with them, when they are bowling over in Vegas.

We are also fans of NASCAR racing and most any form of off road racing that happens in the desert or on the track. We don't get to many of the races any more but we still keep a close eye on what is happening with all of them.

Let us introduce ourselves. We are Joyce & Harley Pace, as you can see from the title of this page, this is our place on the net. We have been living in the Yucca Valley area for more than 15 years now, and for several years before that this was our weekend retreat from the big city.

This is as close as we get to having any offspring. Spike and Cookie spend all day playing and chasing each other around the yard.... then eat for a while..... sleep for a while..... then do it all over again. We are both animal lovers and we consider the dogs as just one of the family. As you can see from the picture he is well fed and lives the "life of Riley" every day.

The Old gang had another G-Day last week. We hit the Toluca Lake Bob's and then went to see all of our old schools. We got to go inside the old Jr. High School ( which is now a middle school ) and see what was new. To our surprise most all of the old school we remember from 1956 is still there and in tact to this day. We toped everything off with the usual lunch at Ernies.

I went totally crazy and bought a new bike. This time I really went for the "Gusto" and got a Honda CRF250X. This is a real racing bike and goes fast enough to get me into some serious trouble out in the desert. I have lost the hope of ever getting the new bike licensed since the latest laws out of Sacramento have gone into effect.

Gas prices are at $3.45, and that is over the moon, but most any drop in price will help. I can not use the new bike for any street trips to town so that little bit of savings is gone now too. It looks hopeless !! Back to the plan to burn the Motorhome !!

We bought an old ( and I do mean old ) trailer to use for going out to some of the desert bike races. I am even trying to ride some of the easy Enduros now. After 30 years of being away from the bike racing this has been quite a jolt to my system...... but we are back out there and enjoying it again. Now we have to sell the motorhome -- No easy task !!
