Jersey Giant Chickens are the heaviest of all of the breeds. They are a rare breed that grows to 18 pounds.
They are not common because they take a long time to mature. Most farmers want a chicken they can eat within 6 to 8 months.
We offer Jersey Giants adults and chicks. They are available in the following colors: Black (original), White, and the
not so common Blue. They have great big feet and will tear up a yard if you intend to free range them.
Chickens are great anywhere they are allowed. They eat ants and other insects as well as weeds. Their feathers can be
easily cropped to keep them from flying out of fenced area.
I keep only hens at my home because they make almost no noise and produce beautiful very large brown eggs.
