This
is a 97 Ferrari F355 Spider. VIN # ZFFXR48AXV0108921. This car was purchased from a repossession company and as a result there
are no records, books or tools. It seems to have been maintained but we do not know when or if the cam belt service has been
done. A thorough undercarriage inspection reveals absolutely no signs of body or frame damage from any accidents and there
is a clean report from CARFAX. The Repo company, in their infinite wisdom, did not believe that this car had only 19,500 miles
on the odometer so they have marked the title with ‘ miles may not be actual’ but the carfax report shows increasing
milage consistent with the odometers current reading. OK, now that that is out of the way here is the description of the car.
This
car runs and drives very well. It has a check engine light on and the code reads that it needs to have the 5-8 catalytic converter
replaced. All of the electrics including the AC are fully functional with the drivers window switch being the only fault (intermittent).
The interior is in rough condition with the leather on the dash shrinking up, the rubber coated console pieces and the vents
are the usual sticky problem and the drivers seat bolsters show wear. The paint is mostly in nice condition with some chips
here and there around the car, all small, a door ding on the drivers door, chipping on the edge of that door, and quite a
few chips on the top of the drivers rocker from exiting and entering the car. There is also a very small crack on the top
edge of the rear bumper in the corner , about 1” long. The tires are Pirelli Pzeros and the two on the right have 80%
tread left but the two on the left side have less that 20% tread. The left rear wheel has been curbed pretty good but it is
repairable. The glass is all in excellent shape with no chips in the windshield.
This
car will have a clean Texas
title.
