The Golf Channel seems to play all the major tournaments and hosts Golf Central(golf news) and other programs.
My favorite programs are the Golf Channel Academy and Playing Lessons from the Pros. As a new golfer, they give
me hours of instruction each week from instructors like Jim Flick, David Leadbetter, Jim McLean, Dave Pelz, Dean Reinmuth, and Rick Smith and from Tour Pros like Nick Price, Dave Stockton , Bruce Lietzke, and others. This is instruction that would otherwise be impossible. They cover a specific aspect
of the game or take you with them as they instructionally play a round in a 30 minute show. Aspects like setup routine, putting,
chipping, swing plane, irons, driving, uneven or tough lies, and course management. Many segments have on-course
instruction. In a word,,,,Great!
Originally, I needed to see everything, Later, I would pick out which instruction is related to my current play
that needs improvement. I have a VCR and have taped a number of segments for later review or prior to going to practice.

Now, I've seen so many TV Lessons, I actually prefer to watch a golf game with good shot making. Since I'm playing
good, I don't want to see (or identify with) other people's problems. I know what I need to practice and focus
on.
The Golf Channel also has a very big website that includes the instruction clips, links and their TV programming.
It's located at http://www.thegolfchannel.com
