Below is detail shots of the old scroll. While I didn't like the overall finished design, I did like the foliage
painting. I thought the lettering on this scroll was too spindly looking for the period, though, and in enlarging the
design from the original design (which was about 1/4 the size) I think the foliage just got too large. I should have
kept it smaller than this, which is 14"x18".

Below are detail pictures of the painting along the bottom of the new scroll, showing the white work in more detail.
The original Macclesfield page had rabbits in a religious procession walking across the bottom bar, but I replaced them with
two squirrels tossing a nut to each other. And of course I had to add the arms somewhere, so it got put at the end of
the branch. It looked better at an angle than straight up and down.
The color scheme in the new scroll using red, blue and gold gothic style also works better with the arms, since those
were done in the same colors.
