Physical Description: Physically, Edon is tall and dark skinned
for a Trill. He stands just under 2 meters tall, with a dark olive complexion, black hair and dark eyes. Growing
up in the coastal city of Trada, Edon is an avid swimmer. He also participated in most any sport he could while growing
up and at the academy, giving him a trim, athletic physique.
Personal Assessment from the logs of Edon Tel:
Most of my life has been consumed by school or sports of one kind or another. Growing up on Trill, the highest
goal anyone could have is being joined. You must pass stringent intellectual, physical and psychological tests before
receiving a symbiont, and that is what comprises childhood for most of us. Neither of my parents had been joined; they
narrowly disqualified. They wanted to make sure the same did not happen to me. Mother was a successful engineer,
father was a popular architect. They provide every opportunity for me and my twin brother. I passed all my tests
early and was joined at the earliest age, my 17th birthday; my brother had to be retested in one area and was joined 4 months
later. My symbiont, Tel, had always been an adventurer, and after joining I decided to join Starfleet. My brother,
now Malko Ren, elected to remain on Trill and enter the diplomatic service. While at the Academy, I explored a number
of career paths, but finally settled on Counseling. This allowed me to use my natural Trill diplomatic skills while
at the same time directly and immediately improving the lives of those around me. The promise of a starship posting
also appealed to the adventurer in me.

Betazoid Counseling Service:
Ensign Tel was assigned to the Counseling Service working to help stabilize the Betazoid
homeworld after the Dominion occupation. He served admirably for six months. His ability to empathize and connect
with his patients was impressive. The eagerness and zeal with which he approached any additional duty was certainly
welcome, but occasionally caused him to over-commit himself, stretching his own personal resources quite thin. It did
serve to gain him important command experience, however, leading several teams to outlying areas of the planet. I believe
this tendency to over-reach will correct itself in time, leaving him always pushing himself to do better, but not stretching
himself to a breaking point, and he will be a fine officer. I know his ambition has always been to serve on a starship,
and I recommend him to this posting happily.

Home World
Edon is in excellent physical condition. He has had a few minor sports injuries in his life, but all
have been treated and have left no chronic conditions. The Tel symbiont is also in excellent condition. Their
joining seems to be very strong, and I can foresee no problems arising from this. Luckily, Edon Tel does not suffer
from the transporter restriction that a few joined Trill do, and he is cleared for transporter usage at will.

Ensign
Tel shows no signs of any mental disorder or weakness. This is to be expected from a successfully joined Trill.
He is remarkably well balanced and focused for his age, and as noted by my colleague Commander Suder, his major weakness is
his eagerness to do more. Trill on the whole are overachievers, and Ensign Tel is certainly no exception to this generalization.
