castle2.jpg

Name: Peter Castle

Age: 35

Race: 1/2 Human, 1/2 Vulcan

Place of Birth: USS Jerrico

Physical Description: Peter is typically of half bloods of Vulcans. He is tall, and thin, gaunt and arched. He stalks instead of walking. Glares instead of looking, and bears the characteristic hooked nose of his half race. He has however managed to avoid having dark hair, and has a brown tan mane that is usually kept short.
He has strikingly grey eyes, that are so clear and sharp as to loose oneself in them. He has a a slightly cleft palette- and although surgery has taken place, he still has a slight speech probelm. When he's embarressed or in a state of hightened emotions he does stutter.

Personal Assessment From The Personal Logs Of Peter Castle:

"Chief of Engineering's personal Log, supplimental. I've been asked to perform this personal evaluation on behalf of the Federation. With the possibility of a promotion I suspect it is for these reasons. As such I will strive to present a perfect picture of who I am. I find that I work well alone, as I am then in complete control of the variables. This allows me to ensure that each task is completed to my satisfaction. However I am aware that Starfleet demands allocation of tasks, and it would be illogical for me not to do so.

Others can be ... intimidated by my presence, and although I am only 35 I do have a bearing of one slightly older, say 100. Where this comes from is anyones guess, I suppose because my father died when I was young, it fell to me to play "man of the house". As to my Vulcan heritage, it is of no concern to me. Naturally I am a reserved individual but I do find pleasure in ... well in pleasure. Don't care for women, although I have nothing against them, they just don't interest me. I don't know if that last statement was important,  but I don't care, this is after all a personal evaluation. End log, this is pointless."

Professional Assessment From The Desk Of Captain Ena Jacobi, USS Kilburn,

"Castle is a man of very special talents. One has to dig to find them, and push for them to come to the fore, but he is a hard worker, and always delivers what he offers. Unlike most other engineers, he does not add to his complete times, I don't think he likes the idea of being a miracle worker."

"He seems to get along with the crew, once they've warmed to his particular personality. I myself found him to be entertaining, and very interesting to talk too, and I'd not admit this, except it might make a difference, I trusted him completely. Maybe it was his eyes, or his soft manner, but I always felt I could rely on him."

Medical Assessment From The Desk Of Dr Eric Lensher PHD, Chief Medical Officer, USS Kilburn

"He is medically fit, and in fairly good condition. He could afford to have more meat on his bones, but apart from that he's sound. His Vulcan physiology is in a form of supressed genetics - insofar as - he's not embraced his true genetic potential. I don't think he even knows what mindmeld means.

One other fact of interest, his stutter which manifests itself occationally - is purely psychological. There is nothing physically to remaining that could cause it."

Phsychological Evaluation Of Peter Castle From The Desk Of Chief Counselor Andrew Morgane, USS Kilburn.

"Look basically he's a really nice guy. He just has issues with people who are ... well Human, Vulcan, Klingon, Ferengi ... I needn't go on. He is frustrated because the Vulcans don't like him - he's emotional, the Humans find him cold, and well the other cultures seem to offend this xenophobic individual."

"But once you dig through that, and show yourself to be an ally and not a tormentor he warms up, and is almost over friendly. However I don't think that he is mentally unsound for duty. Although I'd strongly recommend that he not be included on any away missions involving alien species, he tends to be arrogant and suspicious of them."

"Having said all of that, he is a fine officer, and a reliable man, and I can strongly recommend him for any position involving hard, cold metal objects."
