I believe that Richardson Jenkins was the father of Richard Jenkins. I have no proof at this point, it's just a theory.
This is Richardson's headstone. He's buried in Jenkins Springs Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas.
Just a short distance from Richard's grave.
My mother told me that her father believed that he would die when he was 53 because his father
and his father's father both died when they were 53. This doesn't prove anything, and my grandfather and most of his brothers
lived well past 53, but it's a clue.
