Winborn Jenkins

Winborn Jenkins was born in May, 1978. He married Annie M. Brown on June 2, 1900. They had one
child, Geneva, born March 26, 1901. Geneva died in November 1984. Annie died sometime before 1910. Winborn is listed as a
widower in the 1910 census, living with his sister, Nancy, her husband and Geneva. Winborn fathered a child with Mary Jonnie
Downing. Cecil Hiram Jenkins was born on November 13, 1909 in Ft. Chadbourne, Texas. From that point on, we have not
found any records of Winborn at all. Geneva lived for a while with Winborn's brother, Richard. She did keep in touch with
her half brother, Cecil. Cecil had 3 children; Jack, Charley and Lavonne. All three came to our 2005 Jenkins Reunion
along with Jack's son, Jay, and Lavonne's daughter, Darla.
