Walter Clay Jenkins was born August 28, 1880 , probably in Brownwood, Texas and died in
1955 or 1956. He married Jennie Lou Gafford (b. 2 Dec 1881 - d. 15 Mar 1971) on July 27, 1904. They had five children:
Letta May Jenkins (b. 14 Apr 1906 - d. Oct 1984)
Leola Jenkins (b. 1 Nov 1907 - d. 11 Sep 1998)
Florence Jenkins (b. 8 Sep 1901 - d. 18 Jan 1991)
Jasper King Jenkins (b. 13 Apr 1912 - d. 19 Feb 1966)
Aubrey Merlin Jenkins (b. 22 Sep 1921 - d. 29 Jun 1985)
