The Drug Store is the first building on the left.

Dr. E. O. Cilley operated a drug store on the corner of Main and Grove Streets in Conklin.  In addition to medicinal supplies, he also sold paint and various other items.  When he retired he sold the business to R. O. Allen.

An article in the July 31, 1931, Coopersville Observer states, “…Dr. Allen is proprietor of a neat drug store, one that is a credit to the village and where may be found in addition the usual line of drugs and medicines, a fine display of toilet essentials, stationery, etc., as well as an up-to-date soda fountain.”
