Good Omens
By Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett
In the ultimate of “what if” ‘ s authors Neil
Gaiman and Terry Pratchett take a look at nature versus nurture in regards to the Anti-Christ’s upbringing. Known for
their sharp senses of humor and biting sarcasm, this duo created another pair of characters of the angelic and demonic persuasion
who’ve come to the realization that life on earth is pretty sweet without something like the Apocalypse to come along
and muck things up. There’s just one small problem, somewhere along the line the Anti-Christ seems to have gone missing.
Now there’s only until next Saturday, just before dinner, to bring an end to The End if they plan to enjoy life as they’ve
grown used to it. Nonstop, rollercoaster ride of fun or simply too many footnotes—you tell us on Wednesday...
-In September Danielle Ackley-McPhail returns for yet another visit with Bad-Ass Faeries 2 and Hear
Them Roar two new anthologies.

-September's book is Hood, by Stephen Lawhead.
WHY "WATCH THE SKIES"?
Watch the Skies is an informal Science Fiction
and Fantasy reading group of Camp Hill and Harrisburg, PA. We are now in our eighth year of existence. Each month we randomly pick a member's choice to read and discuss. We also spend a bit of time on whatever is new in movies, tv, books and anything else imaginable. In fact that's
mostly what its about, imagination. Call it a monthly field trip through someone
else's imagination with no real rules other than keeping your appendages inside the
windows at all times. Feel free to join us when we meet on the third Wednesday
of every month at 7PM at the Big & unNamed bookstore in the Camp Hill Shopping Center
