Chris
Pavlov began his journey with art when he moved from his childhood home of Radovis, Macedonia to Salzburg, Austria. Along with the training of his artist cousin, Nikola Toplev, this beautiful city inspired him in his first
ink drawings and watercolors. Chris soon became a self-employed artist, selling
his artwork at the Residenz Platz and at the Gallery Kiagasse 40. In 2004 Chris
moved to the United States with his wife and found himself in another beautiful
city, Santa Barbara, California. Here he began selling newly inspired watercolors every Sunday at the Santa Barbara
Arts and Crafts Show. Now, Chris resides in Solvang,
California, where he was not only inspired to begin painting with acrylics, but
was also inspired to open an art gallery. His new gallery, Pavlov Art Gallery,
is located at 437 Alisal Road in Solvang. Here you will find a colorful display of his newest modern acrylic artwork, as well as his classically beautiful
watercolors of local scenery.
