Other Notes: Uses hypercram almost exculsively for Area Knowledge or additional linguistic capability. Has at least 3 Men in black on his staff.2 are usually Constructs that are relatively new (assignment to his staff is seen as a good way to ease them into dealing with real people for the first.) These 2 usually act as his secretary and driver as well as being back-up security. The other Man in Black is actually in charge of security and is an ex-cop named Dean Fisher. Dean has been with Clarence for over 10 years now and is something of a sidekick/protege.

Appearance: Appears to be a hale and healthy white man in his mid fifties.(he's actually 20 years older than that) distiguished silver hair and straight capped teeth. Has an undeniable stage presence and a career salesman's smile.

Clothing Tendencies:Dresses very conservatively except for his tie which is usually something unusual. is at home in a business suits. Most of his wardrobe is made from advanced Ionic cloth and thus adds a bit of protection as well.

Known to: Clarence is widely travelled,(at least in America) and is considered a national treasure by the NWO. He's also made many friends among the Syndicate for reason that will become obvious.

Ongoing Projects:Traveling across the country, speaking anywhere they will let him. 

Circle and Influence: Among technocrats he doesn't have much but among the masses he has the midas touch (see below)

House: owns a sumptuous estate in palm beach which he very rarely sees.

Magickal style :Much of his Magick comes from his knowledge of speaking techniques. Through the use of psycho-neuro-linguistics, rhetorical techniques, Voice roll and a few other tricks. Clarence is able to do phenomenal feats of persuasion. He is able to instill ideas,paint pictures with words that audiences can almost see, and in extremis, flat out control minds.Please note, that Clarence is perfectly capable of affecting crowds this way without the use of much in the way of inspired science.(high Charisma,high expression, Supporter Merit and Enchanting voice.) The rest of his magick is chalked up to careful analysis,dumb luck, and powerful "Vitamins"

Story: Clarence Yearwood is an NWO success story. At a fairly young age, Clarence left his father's insurance business and enlisted in the army. There he showed a talent for counter-intelligence and that's where he worked until the late 60's until his wife passed away. Re-evaluating his life,Clarence decided to take a page from Dale Carnegie. He became a motivational speaker and began touring the country. This is when the NWO found him, already practicing inspired science without realizing it. Rather than try to wrangle his talents into something he hated doing. His first supervisor found that it was quite possible that he was doing very valueable work right where he was.

Clarence is a supreme motivator and he has traveled the depth and breadth of this country visiting fortune 500 companies,prayer breakfasts,high school and college commencement exercises,rotary club meetings,corporate retreats and anyplace else they will pay him to speak. He is forthwright,optimistic, sincere and capable of whipping a crowd into a frenzy. He has friends everywhere and never forgets a face.(eidetic memory helps) he occasionally helps people by showing them that things aren't as bad as they say they are and then uses "Statistics" to prove it. Shockingly he is often shown to be right. As a consequence, whenever he visits an economically depressed area , often their economy turns around.(the Syndicate love him.) Whenever he speaks to kids,juvenile crime drops and more children turn their eyes towards careers in business,politics or the military. Companies that hear him speak enjoy a boost in morale and quarterly earnings.

Clarence is a staunch conservative but he isn't obnoxious about it. He is also a moderate Christian and kind of old fashioned when it come to ladies. if he has a real strength at all it is his optimism which has helped him prevail in the face of liberal agitators. They only time it gets really shaky is on the aniversary of the death of Martha,his first wife. Once, while he'd had a few in him, he almost blabbed about the whole technocracy thing to Billy Graham. Thankfully, he stepped back from the brink on that one.

When traveling, Clarence makes it a point to stay in close contact with the NWO and the Syndicate and this has saved his bacon on more than one occasion. Detailed reports on suspected supernatural activity or reality deviants are given extra weight by the Watchers when he makes them. Naturally, Clarence has made a few enemies of people with differing political and religious viewpoints but he has never found a need to be vindictive about this. Often times a long talk about the problem or being made to look foolish in front of a crowd of people is usually enough. In those cases where it isn't enough, Mr Fisher takes over and things get vindictive indeed.

Clarence works closely with the masses and with employees. he gets very irritated with other technocrats who use the term "proles" or who show contempt for the masses. Usually, this inspires an on-the-spot lecture that stays with the technocrat for weeks afterward. It should be noted that, while many technocrats appear somewhat avuncular while sharpening their knives for your back...Clarence is really a nice guy with a great job and he enjoys it very much. He actually helps people everywhere he goes and god help anybody who tries to get in his way.

Positive technocrat role model: getting a little tired of every technocrat being some kind of creep? Here's a standup guy, no skeletons in his closet, who is not plotting your demise,who goes around motivating people to better their lives....insidious isn't it?

Possible defector: Well...No...Not really. But he might say so just to open up a dialogue. Of course,he might talk YOU into defecting but if he doesn't all he'll do it is report the contact to the local Watchers and leave town

Target for destruction: More than a few people have tried to silence Clarence. The fact that he's still here is a testament to the efficiency of his security team and his improvisational and persuasive acumen.

Scary Technocrat to kids: Clarence is useable in any chronicle which involves children as well. To adults he isn't really scary at all. but to supernatural young persons he might seem to be the most frightening kind of person. a conservative, a pillar of the community, a guy who can get you to change your mind about anything! and he's got a couple of leg-breakers to keep him safe. No one will ever believe that he's evil.(of course that's mainly because he's not , but younger people tend to see things in a much more black and white fashion.) Clarence is going to seem like the devil incarnate when your band's drummer quits to concentrate on his schoolwork so he can get into a good business school.
