Appearance:a large heavy set and athletic african-american man in his late 50's with a piercing gaze in his one brown eye. Doug's voice is deep and meliflous and he speaks with the natural cadences of a natural Orator.In crinos form and hispo form he is remarkably broad and muscular.

Clothing Tendencies:When he bothers to wear a suit, he is an impressive and imposing figure. Mostly though he sticks with sweats and other athletic gear.

Known to: Known well to the local sept, and has friends in the legal profession,the police, and on the street.

Ongoing Projects:  Running the C- Street Youth center and keeping his pack from doing anything stupid.may serve as Truthcatcher for your sept.

Story:

Douglas was a bright young black man who wanted to do what was right. He was passionate and full of fire, He had a gift for words and an orators voice. He set his sights on nothing more nothing less than a Judgeship.

Ordinarily the next words would be "And then he went through his first change and knocked all that into a cocked hat." Except it didn't stop him. it only made him more determined and capable of succeeding. He was a potent philodox and as a defense attorney, he was a positive boon to the Gnawers.

Douglas fell into Harrano. bit by bit, piece by piece, the practice of law chipped away at him until he finally sucumbed to despair. It didn't help matters that his pack had gotten decimated and he'd lost an eye.

Doug however is made of stern stuff and he did eventually bounce back. he plowed the meager savings he'd made over the years into a youth center and has been running the place ever since. He is still liscenced to practice law in new york ( a fact which has come in handy more than once) and he occasionally acts as a spotter for Monty when he has some troubled kid in the center.

Story uses:

Truthcatcher: a potent philodox and wise beyond his years, he often find himself mediating disputes both among garou and street kids. He's learned that the only real difference between the two groups is the number of permanent casualties...and this doesn't sit well with him.

First Mentor: Doug's position as the head of a youth center puts him in a unique position as one who is very well suited to shepherding young garou through the ravages of first change and rite of passage. He's also in a pretty good place to catch the occasional lost cub and he also can provide a place to stay for cubs who have to keep a low profile.

Leader of the Pack: With information from Monty,Miranda, and Seamus (and his spirits) Doug has a pretty good idea of what's going on in the city at any given time. At times he hears of something so heinous and large that it must be dealt with...and it can't be handled with younger garou. When this happens, Doug puts out the call and straps on his Klaive. They may be old farts but they'll kick ass and take names when necessary.
