House: Jean's domain is a large open area with with a riot of plants and grow lights. It has been booby trapped viet cong style and is very dangerous to the uninitiated. Her actual lair is a stolen tin tool shed
Hunting preferences/Blood source: Feeds most often on animals but has been known to favor scumbags and criminals when hunting for heartier fare.
Story:
There are certain things that Jean won't talk about. She rarely talks about her old life, she doesn't mention how she was a student in a liberal arts college in the midwest, She never talks about the sire who vindictively embraced her after a gratefull dead concert. She doesn't talk about the 6 agonizing years that she spent enduring his abuse and she won't mention how she poisoned him with curare derivatives and collapsed a tunnel on him.He's still in torpor somewhere... She was quickly found out and had to flee from a blood hunt and wound up here looking for amnesty.
Jean is quiet,introspective,devoted to friends,loves her plants and animals and is able to find the beauty in an otherwise horrific existence, She has managed to make friends on both sides of the sect fence and anyone who slays here will earn the undying enmity of many of the undercity nosferatu. Jean is known to be a sympathetic ear and has served as a mediator in disputes in the past.
Jean has an uncanny ability with plants which borders on the supernatural. She had this while still alive...but it has been enhanced by her practice of adding her blood to her plants and using decaying bodies with the fertilizer.
She has a small group of kine friends that she has made in passing mainly because they needed help...any help.
Story Uses:
Ugly Angel of Mercy: Jean has a softer heart than most kindred her age.(She's fairly solitary and has come to terms with her vampiric nature some time ago.) Jean has a very special sort of skill and it makes her feel good to use it on other peoples behalf. So it isn't unusual to find her helping somebody or acting as an unoffical ambassador.
A Rose with Thorns: As sweet and kind as she is. Jean is still a night crawling creature of darkness. If pressed or threatened she is more than capable of responding with violence. Her pharmacological and toxicological expertise is very deep and broad. Her plants and her animal friends can eat you alive, and if worse comes to worse she has a bit of Celerity,Potence,and enough Obfuscate to wreck your day.
A kind teacher: Jean is fairly free with her gifts. Nosferatu and other sorts seek out her expertise in things herbological. All you really have to do is ask. She'll teach her disciplines too for a decent price. But she definitely wants to learn Thaumaturgy's Green Path and the Path of Neptune. If there is an earth moving path, she'd like to learn that too. A character with these abilities will find Jean a willing if scary looking friend.
