Appearance: A lean and taught caucasian woman in her mid-forties.Trim and coltish in a way that only swimming and tennis can create. Patricia has soft blue eyes and longish curly red hair. her skin is fair and she freckles easily.

Clothing Tendencies: Can wear a burlap sack and make it look coture.Pat is perfectly at home in an evening dress and heels.

Known to: the Upper crust types. Certain Ventrue and Toreador have suffered losses that as yet have not been traced back to her.

Ongoing Projects:Charity work and helping hunters who are more capable of the martial end of things than she is. 

Circle and Influence: Her Influence is surprising in it's depth. Pat has spent the better part of her life meeting important people and making friends with them. She has the politician's knack of remembering names and faces and she comes from old money and is thus part of the old boys network so prevalent in those circles.

House: A palatial manse in the country, a security penthouse in the city. and a little villa in Nice.

Story: It would be really easy to thoroughly hate Pat Crosswhite if she weren't in such an impossible situation. She came from an old money family and married into one as well. She was raised a presbetyrian and a liberal. She got the best liberal arts education money could buy, She championed laudable causes and got involved in rich white people activism. She had the kind of strident self hatred and guilt that only that kind of upbringing can create. She had a largely happy marriage(her husbands affair was brief and thankfully discreet) and then it all went spirallling into hell. Reed Crosswhite died of an unexpected heart attack.

Pat found herself alone for the first time in her life really and it made her have bad dreams for at least 6 months after Reed passed away. a business rival moved in and tried to take control of Reed's company but found Pat was more than capable of stopping him. After an extended period of mourning,Pat reentered the social scene. She ran into her husband's rival there and was shocked to discover that he was not a living creature.

Actually, this understates the revealation a bit. Pat realized that fully over a quarter of the participants of that particular soiree were undead or ghost ridden. She was forced to excuse herself and went to the toilet to compose herself. When she re-entered the party she was a very different woman. A lifetime of dealing with the rich and powerful clicked into place for her and she sucked it up and went back out into the party to find out how many of her friends were in danger.

Pat has become a forward observer of sorts. She has used her considerable wealth and position to roam the halls of power and funnel information,weapons and cash into the hands of more martialy oriented Hunters.Vampires terrify her utterly and this loses her a bit of respect in the eyes of those she's trying to help. She's fortified her homes and hired a driver with a background in the martial arts but she knows this won't be enough , if and when the vampire twig to her activities.

If Pat has had any success it is in the realm of ghostbusting. Some of her closest friends have had that sort of problem and while such things are never talked about in polite society,Word is being passed in the right circle that Pat is someone who can deal with dead relatives who still think they run the family finances.

Story Uses: 

Beautiful woman who is in way way WAY over her head: Sooner or later, the vampires are going to figure that there is a spy in their midst. Either that or some Ventrue is going to decide to make her a ghoul, a vampire or a member of their Herd. Either way it's going to suck for Pat. As much as some hunters are turned off by her near non-combatant status. the Hunter will be extremely crippled by the loss of her information and her resources.

Competent hunter in her own theater: For some reason, Pat is just not as afraid of Ghosts. She can deal with them, she can talk to them and if things get hairy she can Ward an area and call in help to get rid of the ghost permanently. Many old money families have ghosts and some are more cranky than others. Pat is becoming a capable ghost-breaker and it has enabled her to create new opportunites and influence

Sheltered Naif: Pat is dusting off all the Journalistic training that she got in college in her ongoing education in the Occult. Sadly though, Pat hasn't got a good idea of how the world really works. She's lived a somewhat sheltered life and has only ever seen street people when doing her volunteer work. Consequently, allthough she heard of Zombies,Werebeast,Goblins and the like, she's not likely to see them , or survive her first encounter with them, unless some hunter takes her under his wing.

Secret Patron: Pat has read too many spy novels. Her precautions are somewhat byzantine but she has the help of a string of Hunters that she's located with the help of some hunters she's allready met. She might be the Charlie behind your group of angels.
