 Story:

 Ruthann Pedofski is the widow of Alik Pedofski, a labor union organizer in poland during the first Solidarity uprisings. When he was executed she was forced to become a fishwife in order to feed herself. She had family in the States and pleaded with them for help.They said O.K. she left everything she had in Poland and escaped and made her way to America. On arriving in America she discovered that her relations couldn't take her in after all... "go back home" they urged.But there was no home to go back to and no skills to support her in the new world. She managed to give immigration the slip and wandered the streets alone slowly starving to death.

His name was Grigori. He fell upon her to take her life. But she fought. Oh how she fought. This magnificent lost soul. He took her life,and then in remorse for his own lost humanity, he gave it back. He took her under his wing and she in turn for his tutelage came to care for him as well. That was before he lost his life in the jyhad.

Ruthann is a courier for her clan. She has a singular ability to get across the jungle of the city in even the worst conditions. She thinks anyone who distinguishes between types of nosferatu is a fool. and runs errands for both sides. She also does some low level black marketeering on the side but stays away from drugs. there is no one who knows the city from top to bottom like her and she uses her Animalism to stay up to date. Often she and Ronald will feed pigeons in the park.

Ruthann has fallen a little in love with Ronald.(which oddly enough,he is totally oblivious to.) and Ray brings out a certain motherliness in her. When she isn't on an errand,she rides about with them and when she isn't with them she's often brooding or at mass praying for her soul. Allthough a very devout catholic. She often worries about her own damnation and her bitterness at the hardships of her life and undeath.
