As the head wrangler on this project, I reserve the right
to edit for Brevity,Content,Game Mechanics,and authorial quality. I
will try to keep you involved in the process at all steps and
hopefully we can come to some sort of consensus on what the content
will finally be. It is my direct intent to credit each submission to
their author. I won't be able to pay you but you should at least get
your name known.
Any materials submitted to this project become sole property of The Templeton Institute of Advanced Human Dynamics. This is necessary because i don't want to get down the road to getting this thing published only to have some gimp sue me because i had the nerve to change a word of his purple prose. There are people this mean out there and they always seem to have plenty of time on their hands. I don't.
The Format:
Date: (fairly predictable really)
Juncture: (usually a yes or no will suffice. In the case of dates listed solely in the appendices for other supernaturals the answer is no.)
Resonances: List the appropriate resonances of the day and their bonuses (Ex: Halloween would have the resonances of, trickery,masks, Magic (of the copperfield variety), fear, terror, monsters, evil spirits, seances, and summonings of all sorts. Seance and Summoning resonances are more potent than all of the other resonances and have higher bonuses. Summoning an Evil Spirit of some sort might be worth up to -3 with proper High ritual.)
Anti-Resonances: List any sort of resonances that will cause problems for particular types of magick. These are fairly rare. In the above example, it should be noted that magick used to perform the chinese water torture escape will be at +2 on the difficulty. Hey, it may just be superstition, but who wants to tempt fate?
Spirits: List the spirits that might be interested in the day for various reasons(explain why below)
Region: most magickal resonances are fairly specific to their cultures. Christmas day isn't going to mean shit to a borneo tribesman and even if you are Mexican Euthanatos you are going to have trouble using the power of the la festivos de la muerta if you're the only spanish speaker within 500 miles. Some Junctures are firmly rooted in culture and aren't potent without that culture to support it and some junctures are rooted in a particular place...and there just might be a story in that.
