Plot #1 The Wager

This is a fairly simple subplot which entails exactly four Characters: Two of the Characters must be Toreador and the other 2 must be in love in some way, shape, or form.

The Premise: Two Toreador notice a burgeoning romance between 2 other vampires. One cynically proclaims that the romance is doomed. The other idealistically proclaims that love is the most powerful force on earth. The Cynic proposes that Idealist put her money where here mouth is and a wager is struck.Being witnessed by the other Toreador this wager becomes an elaborate game.

The Bet: The wager is this. A time limit is set. Each side of the game can only influence the lovers indirectly. Kidnapping and slaying the pair are right out. Using presence on either lover is also forbidden. Since Toreador have fairly good Auspex, cheating will be very hard to pull off. Each Toreador agrees that the other must be in attendance whenever in the presence of either lover. Lesser Toreador on each side of the game act as go-betweens and agents provocatuer. Once the Time limit has elapsed, either the lovers still love another or they don't (easily confirmed with Auspex) and a winner will be named. Those who break the rules of engagement will summarily lose. It should also be noted that if the other toreador on either side break the rules,or worse, tell anybody outside the clan about the little game, punishment will be suitably dire.

The Prize: At the outset, the prize of the little game is a major boon owed to the winner. But as the competition heats up, the stakes are likewise raised. Each Toreador has 2 drinks on the other towards a bloodbond. The prize becomes the last drink. As the time limit nears...things get more and more serious
