Plot #2 Wassail!

This subplot requires exactly one thing: a player who is willing to play it. The ST might need to buttonhole a likely candidate beforehand and lay out the specifics of this plot enhancer.

The Premise: At least one of the kindred involved in the game has been suffering from eroding humanity but has been hiding it from the others. a triggering event takes place that causes the player to lapse into total Wassail becoming a menace to the Kindred community and the Masquerade at large.

The Gaff: For the rest of the game, The Wassailer will terrorize anyone or anything with blood in it's system. Complex mental disciplines(Necromancy,Thaumaturgy,Dominate) will be unavailable to the Wassailer but gifts of a more instinctual nature might still work to some degree (Animalism,Obfuscate and Presence) and all physical gifts will be just fine. The Wassailer is in a constant state of frenzy and is incredibly dangerous not only to humans but to fellow kindred. Dominate and Presence will have very limited effect (allthough Animalism might have some)

Likely targets: Gangrel and Nosferatu are natural choices for this sort of thing because of their powers and hardiness but it might also be interesting to have a Malkavian or Toreador go completely over the edge.(facing a crazed Toreador is no picnic. Celerity, Dread gaze locked into the "allways on" position, and with Auspex, impossible to surprise)

Power levels: A neonate that goes into Wassail will definitely attract the attention of the sherrif and scourge and might get ugly if they are sneaky enough to diablerize a few victim before getting caught.

An Ancillae who goes Wassail is more serious because the odds favor him or her being able to take out a number of neonates at a time. Elders are unused to having to do their own dirty work but they may have to in this case because other Ancillae will be too busy trying to repair their comrades damage.

An Elder who goes Wassail is a full on emergency. Players will be expected to drop everything and participate in the hunt on pain of prince's summary judgement.
