Cozumel, Mexico

March 2005

We were with Aldora Divers and stayed at Villa Aldora. Only people who are diving with Aldora (or at least one family member) can stay at Villa Aldora. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Everything about Aldora Divers and Villa Aldora is directed towards a wonderful time. We strongly recommend them to anyone going to Cozumel. If you are interested, you can check out their web page at www.aldoradivers.com.

This Spotted Eagle Ray spent a few minutes in front of us digging in the sand.

I don't know how he did it, but our Dive Master (Vollrath) found this small (about an inch) Sailfin Blenny in the sand.

This was just one of several Giant Hermit Crabs.

Notice the blue eyes of this Red Banded Hermit crab.

This Stripped Burrfish was hard to see against the background of sand.

The Scrawled Filefish swan directly in front of me asking for a picture.

The eyes look like they have been painted on this Sargassum Triggerfish.

I didn't realize it at the time, but there appears to be a shirmp hiding beside the Giant Anemone.

This Yellowline Arrow Crab was trying to hide inside a Barrel Sponge.

This doesn't look poisonous but looks are deceiving.
