Reason I found ICM:

I've tried the phone company CallWaitingID service, I've tried different modem settings, formats. V.90, V.34, K56, Win95 & Windows 98. I've tried & tried to get my Zoom modems to drop when a call came and I was surfing the internet.   Just could not get the modem to let the calls thru.   Bought a Sony telephone with call-waiting ID... it only works if you are using the phone, then it will see a call waiting signal and report the ID.   Tried several Call Waiting Win95 software programs... same deal, they don't work while your connected thru your modem.

Epilog:
