                               PERSONAL

        I am a minister of the Gospel.
        I preach primarily from the  King James and the American Standard 1901 from the pulpit.
        I have a strong pulpit delivery, and work well with elders.
        I preach with compassion, conviction, and passion to each audience seeking their salvation.
        My preaching is balanced and Bible centered.
         

                                    FAMILY LIFE

          I am married to my wife Lisa who is a dedicated Christian.  We have
          two children.  A son Logan and daughter Rachel.  Both our families have
          been faithful members of the Lord's church for generations.  My son is
          17 years old, and my daughter is 15 years of age.  We strongly support
          Christian education and missions. My in-laws have ministered in Romania.

                                EMPLOYMENT

                   TEACHING - PULPIT  Minister Christian Home Church of Christ

  •           I have served as the pulpit minister for this congregation of the Lord’s people since August 1988.
  •           The congregation is a very stable and  growing body under the eldership that serves.
  •           We have multiple baptisms every year.

    •           The congregation is one of the oldest congregations in south Alabama.
              Christian Home is known as a very sound, faithful and evangelistic Church.
              As minister, I am responsible for the pulpit duties, developing the sermonic material,
              teaching, counseling and the various administrative duties of the church that arise day by day.
      I work in close harmony and intimately with my elders.  I promote the work  of the church
      and help maintain her doctrinal purity and unity.

      TEACHING  FAULKNER UNIVERSITY

      Presently I am an adjunct professor for Faulkner University.  I teach military students as
      well as other adult students the Bible.   My prayer is that this position will allow me to
      introduce the Lord's church to non-Christians.  My students class study notes on Genesis
      and Acts can be viewed on the web. I pray that this outreach will glorify the father.

                            MINISTRY  EXPERIENCES

              I have experience in many Christian fields of service.
              I have labored in foreign and domestic areas in preaching the gospel.
              My campaign experiences have been in New Egypt, New Jersey,
              San Juan, Trinidad,  Port Antonio, Jamaica,  Buford Georgia, and local campaigns.
              For the past 4 years we have campaigned with the sojourners in Alabama.
              Conducted prayer for the Alabama House of Representatives.
              Led Chapel services 177th Tactical Squadroon, Air National Guard.
              Conducted chapel services for the 280th Combat Squadroon Battalion.
              Gospel meetings have taken me to several states in the U.S.
              Broadcast radio program on a 100,000 watt FM station for 3 years.
              Appointed Colonel by Fob James, Alabama Governor, 2-7-98.
              Led Chapel services 280th Combat Battalion, Air National Guard.
              Authored and published the following books:

                           INTEREST / ACTIVITIES
         

                      My family  is my top priority.  My desire is that we will go to heaven together.
                      Reading a wide range of  literary works when time permits.
                      Small game hunting.
         
                               GOALS AND PERSONAL ASPIRATIONS

                     My desire is to continue preaching the pure gospel to the saving and
                     edification of all who will listen to the word of the Lord.
                     My passion is to be an effective Christian in every area of my life.
                     My hope is that I can continue to study and teach as many people
                     the gospel as possible.
                     I work well with all ages both young and old.
