The multi-line Teligent 314 is a home phone system, a home office phone system and a small office phone system all rolled into one package. It contains all the large corporate business phone system features in a very easy to use plug and play package. It is nearly ready to go right out of the box (you may want to customize the electronic receptionist's messages). The system automatically routes and protects modem traffic as the auto attendant (electronic receptionist) simultaneously directs voice calls.
This system uses an advanced technology (protected by nearly a dozen granted and pending patents). This technology allows the system to be sold at a fraction of the price of its nearest competitor. No rewiring is required; all incoming lines are frequency multiplexed onto a single internal line. It is not necessary to adjust internal wires to adjust for system configuration changes. In fact, you can move an extension anywhere on the single line (single twisted pair) with no adjustment whatever.
This system is compatible with Linksys broadband, so that broadband can also be placed on that same single twisted pair of wires. In that case, you would have four conversations on four of 14 different extensions and broadband on that one single twisted pair of wires that you already have in place. You would no longer need to punch any holes in your walls for office communications needs.
