Faith in God, it's a wonderful thing it comes so easy when we are children I am convinced it's because we are so much closer to God, We have not been tainted with the supposedly superior world knowledge. But, just how superior is it? People say faith in God is childish, naïve its myth it's fairy tales, just for children. It strikes me funny because the truth is children don't need it as much as we do. We need the stabilizing, hopeful healing state of belief much more. And what's so unbelievable lets just examine it a minute, You find it hard to believe in God you don't think there's a superior being who created all this and watches over us. After all, You can't see him. Aha! Can you see how a child is being formed in his mother womb I mean can you really see do you see his intelligence his persona his propensity for love, No! Yet you believe! You don't know how air is made, But you, know what it contains you know we need it to live. You can't make air you can't make electricity you can only used what's there already. Where did it come from? You can probably clone someone but you needed the original to do it. Only God makes the original. No you would rather believe in scientist, Intellectuals, and what you can see. But how much can you see? Just how right, happy and well adjusted are those scientist and intellectuals and where are there solutions and answers. In this venture of living just how much more knowledge do they have to offer you? They can tell you how to plant a tree, but can they tell you how to make one. They can tell us what's wrong with us but can they solve our problems. Look around you. Have they? Can they? No! They haven't. So where do we go for this help. We can go to God who made the tree who made us. And some will say, yea but they know people of faith who have not fared any better and have gone through all kinds of life's travails and agonies. True, But look closely study them the true believers and observe the others under the same situations. Who's doing better? God said we are his children. And just like you can't prevent everything unpleasant from happening to your children or your parents to you he can't always prevent things from happening to us. If the truth were told, in all honesty, we are the authors of most of our own unhappiness or someone else's poor judgement touches us. But just like our carnal parents, He's there, to console us to guide us to help if we ask. If we can believe in air, trees, electricity, thoughts which is something else you can't see but you know are there .Why can't we believe in God? To me it makes sense. When you are alone and having conversations with yourself as we all do. Where are you getting that answer? Who's giving you that inner guidance? How do you know that you know? Could there be something greater than us. Some great magnificent force and could we be manifestations of his grandeur, his creativity and his love. Thank you God. ****** I believe!
