Wastewater Organisms Database Contents
| The Wastewater Organisms Database is currently available in two formats, Access and Acrobat versions. The Access version can be obtained in either Access 97 or Access 2000 form. Unfortunately, you cannot open the Access 97 version using Access 2000 and vice-versa. The Acrobat version is about 150 Megs in size and contains about 9 short avi videos. The size of the videos can range in size from as low as 39 Megs to as much as 150 Megs in size. In order to obtain the highest quality of the video as well as the photomicrographs it is highly recommended that a minimum of a Pentium 300 with 128 Megs, 17 inch monitor with the resolution set to at least 24 bit color and 1024x768, and a video card with at least 16 Megs of onboard RAM be used to view the database. Acrobat Reader version 4.0 is highly recommended. The following link is for a PDF file that presents the bookmarks for the database. The bookmarks represent the general categories in the database.
