Census includes second wife of John, Martha J. Seaman, age
24. This would make her too old to be a daughter, and too
young to be the mother of the older children aged 15, 13 and
11. This fits with Warren Co., marriage record of Johm M.
Seamon and Martha Jane Wear, 1848. Also included in the
census is Lydia V. Seaman, aged 78, probably John's mother,
which fits if John M. is the son of Joseph Seamon (b. 23 Mar
1767, NJ) and Lydia Vaughn (b. 1765 NJ), as suggested by E.
Dianne Nalesnik (World Connect database: tvancochran)

LDS ref. and The Early Zollman Family in Virginia ref.
identify Mary as married to William Zollman. Perhaps he was
Heinrich William Zollman? Whether Henry or William, both
the Dagger Internet ref and the Zollman in Virginia ref.
identify his father as Johan(n) Adam Zollman.
[1086]
Located on the "upper reaches of the main James River, near
the confluence of the Cowpasture and the Jackson's Rivers."
[1089]
The Early Zollman Family in Virginia ref. places his burial
at the Locust Bottom Church, under the pastorage of the Rev.
Mr. Crawford, a "Dutch Calvinist". Dawn Hageman has him
burried at what was known as the High Bridge Church near the
Natural Bridge.
