[959] There are some Internet sites which identify Phoebe as the
daughter of Nathaniel Green (b. 4 Nov 1707 in Portsmouth,
RI) and Mary Mott (b. 25 Apr 1708 in Ridgefield, CT).
However, researcher James Green raises the following
concern, "Nathaniel Greene and Mary Mott were also the
parents of General Nathaneal Greene of Revolutionary War
fame. All records I have seen, show their daughter Phoebe,
dying shortly after birth in 1742. If they had another
daughter named Phoebe, how did she go from R.I. to S.C. to
marry Samuel Walker?" Obviously, more research is required.

20) and duaghters Jenette (age 1) and Ida (age 2/12).
Family is living next door to Louisa's parents, Gotleib and
"Rebecca" Hinderer.

[418] Mustered in at Camp Chase, OH, May 2, 1864 for 100 days
service with the 145th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry,
Company K. The Regiment was ordered to Washington City
where it provided garison duty at Forts Whipple, Woodbury,
Tillinghast and Albany, defending the southern approach to
the city. The Regiment saw action in the repulse of Early's
attack on Washington, July 11-12. On 20 August, the
Regiment was moved to Baltimore, MD and from there to Camp
Chase, OH where it was mustered out.
