Birthdate of May 1838 as recorded on death certificate is
consistent with 1910 census (age 71) and 1880 census (age
42), but conflicts with 1850 census which cites his age as 9
(b. ABT 1841) and 1900 Census, which records age as 55 (b.
ABT 1845). I would suspect there may be two Richard Browns
except Richard's death was recorded by Sam Brown who appears
on the same 1900 census entry that conflicts with the death
certificate information that Sam provided.
