Assignment: Choose three instances of genocide from the list below. For each genocide complete a 4-6 page, typed, double spaced, paper that addresses the following questions:
  • When did this event occur? Where did it occur?
  • Which group or groups were victims? Approximately how many people were killed?
  • Which group or groups were the perpetrators? 
  • What were the historical circumstaces surrounding the genocide?
  • Why did it occur?
  • What was the response of the international community to the genocide?
