MILITARY PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY
IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
AND PERSIAN GULF
U.S./NATO FLEET FLEXES
IN THE PERSIAN GULF
In late March 2007, the largest force assembled off the coast of Iran since the 2003 invasion of Iraq undertook several days of war games as the fleets of warships of USS Dwight D.
Eisenhower and
USS John C. Stennis strike groups began simulated attack exercises amid the crowded shipping lanes.
The fleet is said to have included 100 aircraft, 10,000 U.S. personnel, six guided-missile destroyers, three minesweepers, two amphibious assault
ships and a frigate. The exercises, including the search of cargo ships, attacks on enemy shipping, locating and destroying
mines and hunting enemy submarines, were being commanded from the Navy's 5th Fleet headquarters in Bahrain. The French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and its strike
group was operating just outside of the Gulf in the Arabian Sea
in support of NATO forces in Afghanistan.
The arrival of the USS
Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in October 21, 2006, a planned international naval exercise brought a massive concentration of American air and marine
forces into the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and the eastern Mediterranean.
The Strike Group augmented a significant NATO fleet already in the eastern Mediterranean.
The mission
of the naval exercises which began on October 31, including forces from France, Britain and Canada as well as from Bahrain
and Kuwait, was to support maritime security operations (MSOs), including ship interdiction, ensuring regional security,
and demonstrating a
“resolve and readiness to act” against nuclear proliferation.
The initial destination of “Ike’s” flotilla wasl be the eastern Mediterranean.
From there it will eventually head out to replace the USS Enterprise strike group in the Arabian Sea, supporting operations
in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ike, now
29 years old and last deployed in 2000, had been in dry dock since then for a $1.5 billion major overhaul and refueling of
two nuclear reactors that was completed in March 2005. Following a period of sea trials, the ship and fleet had been
training for its current deployment since October '05.
Prior to
this massive military “exercise,” the UN Security Council imposed sanctions on Iran for engaging in nuclear proliferation. The announcement of the fleet exercises in the Middle East
followed discussions of international sanctions against North Korea
following its nuclear test on October 9.
The
Eisenhower Strike Group departed Norfolk, Virginia with a crew of 6,500 on October 3 following a series of training events which included
naval surface fire support training and air-to-ground bombing practice at U.S. east-coast ranges. The Group consists of the Nimitz-class USS Dwight D. Eisenhower with its embarked Carrier Air
Wing and its embarked Destroyer Squadron (the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio, the guided-missile destroyers USS Ramage
and USS Mason), and the
fast-attack
submarine USS Newport News.

DECLARES WAR

virtually declared war by Iran, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas against the U.S. and Israel.
The day before, on the
second day of Ramadan, a pact was signed to transform Hamas’ military arm, the Ezz e-Din al Qassam, enabling it to create
a second front against Israel from Gaza. Hamas is to create a rapid deployment force of 6,500 men to be trained
in Iran by the Revolutionary Guards, with an emphasis on missiles. A massive rearming of Hamas is reportedly currently underway
through tunnels from Egyptian Sinai into Gaza and Israel was reported to be moving against these Hamas
supply lines.
The Islamic “Republic”
of Iran is believed to be on full war footing following
large-scale military operations in August, including Iranian Revolutionary Guards naval, air and marine units together with
the Iranian armed forces. During this period, Syria announced the formation of a new guerilla force,
"The Front for the Liberation of the Golan," being trained by Hezbullah leaders from Lebanon and Iran.

during massive demonstrations in Iran in support of the
Palestinians, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered an ultimatum to Europe:
“It is in your own interest to distance yourself from these criminals (Israel) ... This is an ultimatum. Don't complain tomorrow."
"We have advised the Europeans that the Americans are far away, but you are the neighbors
of the nations in this region … We inform you that the nations are like an ocean that is welling up, and if a storm
begins, the dimensions will not stay limited to Palestine, and you may get hurt." He also reiterated that the millions of Israelis should
go back to their countries of origin.
Al-Qods Day
is an annual observance event on the final Friday of the month of Ramadan, a day of antiZionism. Meanwhile, in Karachi, Pakistan, some 4,000 Shiite men and 1,000 women marched down busy streets lined with riot police chanting, "Death to Israel" and "Death to America." Held overhead were seen portraits
of the deceased Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Lebanon Hezballah
chief Sheik Hassan Nasrallah. Similar demonstrations were held in the capital Islamabad and in the eastern city of Lahore,
to name a few, as the hardliner clerics of Islam martial their troops for bloody jihad, with loud appeals to the bloody emotionalism
instilled into them in their clerics’ madrassa schools, their brainwashing factories for youth.

Pakistan is Sponsoring Taliban Re-Surge in Afghanistan

The Islamist Taliban jihadists, founded by Pakistan to fight the Soviet forces that invaded Afghanistan
in 1979, are indeed enjoying safe refuge in the ‘wild” and “porous” border areas of Pakistan in 2007,
around the city of Quetta in particular. Quetta has long been a big gun market and in Quetta, where Taliban commanders hide in plain sight, is the large Jamiya Islamiya madrassa (“religious” school)
complex. Taliban is an Arabic word for “student,” for “one who seeks knowledge.” This is but one of the many madrassas of Pakistan’s largest political party, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, or J.U.I., an Islamist party following
the Saudi Wahhabist line of severity, or fundamentalist “purity.” Much
Saudi oil money poured into the Pakistani political and educational system after 1979.
Despite President Musharraf’s continues to pledge as a U.S. ally to root out and control Islamist extremism, most analysts now
believe that Pakistani intelligence agencies are supporting a Taliban resurgence, motivated by Islamist fervor as well as
a desire to have a force in Afghanistan when Western forces leave, to counter Russian, Iranian, Indian and other influences
there.
Many families in the western provinces of Pakistan have lost sons in the recent fighting in southern Afghanistan between the Taliban and NATO forces. These sons had been recruited, often without
their parents’ knowledge, by recruiters from the Pakistani ISI intelligence agency and from Islamist political parties
operating in madrassas and mosques. Many are recruited as Taliban suicide bombers and fighters for Afghanistan. Musharraf operatives rely heavily
on their partnership with the radical J.U.I., which dominates in this province of Baluchistan with very strict interpretations of the words of their prophet.
So, people on both sides of the Afghan-Pakistan border continue to be terrorized by the long reach
of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and their allied Islamist political
parties. These isolated lands, on the front lines of the international war against Islamist terror, are still wallowing in
ignorance clerically-imposed with the power of the swords of the sheikhs, the unelected lords of earthly power; still suffering
from warfare between conflicting government intelligence agencies; and still suffering from the tyranny of Islamist political
parties righteously demanding the services of bloody jihad from their children as “religious” obligation.
In September 2006, then NATO’s supreme commander, Gen. James L. Jones, said to the Senate
Foreign Relations Committee that Quetta, Pakistan, remains the headquarters of the Taliban movement. The Pakistani government continues to deny
it through the first month of 2007 as NATO officials insisted that the recent resurgence in Taliban activities in Afghanistan would be impossible without Pakistani support.
“There are some groups active in taking people to Afghanistan and they are active in Quetta … All Taliban are I.S.I. Taliban,” said a Pakistani father who had learned that his disappeared son, age
25, had died in Afghanistan

the Taliban in five years, defeating
thousands of entrenched Taliban forces.
Regrouping after being driven out of the area by
U.S.-led Operation Mountain

Taliban jihadists had slowly been gathering in Panjwai province for attacks an and around Kandahar,
capitol city of southern
Afghanistan.
About 31,000 NATO troops are currently based in
the country and are focused on bringing
the writ
of the government in Kabul to the
outlaw south and east Afghanistan.
Most Intense NATO Battle Ever
Operation
Medusa, a two-week period of fighting in a lush vineyard region, left an estimated
1,100 Taliban jihadists dead and 160 captured, many of them citizens of Pakistan. The Taliban is thought to have fired $ millions
in estimated 400,000 rounds of ammunition, 2,000 rocket-propelled grenades and 1,000 mortar shells during the battle, plus
over 1 million rounds were found buried in caches. A training camp for jihadists, another camp for suicide bombers, and a
full surgical field hospital were discovered by Operation Medusa in south-eastern Afghanistan, and an infrastructure impossible for the Taliban to have built without the support of Pakistan’s intelligence service, ISI.
VERIFIED: TALIBAN IN AFGHAN RUN BY PAKISTAN INTER-SERVICES
INTELLIGENCE (ISI)
NATO
commanders on the ground have lodged vigorous complaints alleging the role of the ISI in providing support and sanctuary for
Taliban operations in Afghanistan, especially from their southern province of Baluchistan but also from the north-west of
Pakistan. Pakistani Taliban captured during Medusa revealed in detail the
role of the ISI in their experience; convoys of reinforcements in pick-up trucks were observed crossing over from Quetta,
waved across by Pakistani border guards before being attacked by allied air and artillery strikes in Afghanistan.
PAKISTAN = TALIBAN NEST OF JIHADISTS
The Taliban is believed to be operating two training camps and large ammunition dumps
around Quetta, Pakistan, in an area also containing a shura leadership compound headed by Mullah Mohammed
Omar, founder of the Taliban some 12 years ago. Hundreds of madrassas “schools of education” for children are
operating in the area, many run by the radical Jamiat-e-Ullema Islam party which governs the border provinces of Baluchistan and the
North West Frontier. The Jamait Pakistani-Islamist political party was key in founding the Taliban
in 1994.
Along the Afgan-Pakistan “border,” are villages settled in the past by
clerics of the Saudi Wahhabi a.k.a. Salufist sect, from which sect grew the Taliban movement, as if in fertile soil. The madrassas not only enforce constant rote reading in Arabic Qur’an for children
for the purpose of indoctrinating young jihadists but, after they do become fighting jihadists, the madrassas are also used
to indoctrinate and debrief jihadist soldiers, going to and coming from Afghanistan. "Taliban decision-making and its logistics
are all inside Pakistan," said the Afghan defense minister.
In Afghanistan, a training camp for regular jihadists and another camp for suicide bombers, together
with a full surgical field hospital, were discovered by Operation Medusa as parts of a larger military infrastructure impossible
for the Taliban to build without the support of the ISI. The NATO Commanders, from Britain, the US, Denmark, Canada and Holland,
are said to be upset that no apparent rebuff was delivered to Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf when he met with George
W. Bush and Tony Blair in Washington in late September.
NATO – NEW WORLD FORCE FOR
THE UNITED DEMOCRACIES?
"It is time for an 'either you are with us or against us' delivered bluntly to Musharraf
at the highest political level," said one NATO commander. The commander could well direct that ultimatum to NATO itself. The
NATO nations have been very slow to respond to requisitions from the field for more manpower and war materials. Members cite
popular opinion distrustful of perceived U.S.
intentions
together with the burden of the rising resources being spent by the nations of NATO in NATO’s
current expansion, including in Konar and other Afgan provinces bordering Pakistan. Also cited is the difficulty in bringing new troops up to the tasks of an army fighting the high-intensity conflicts
of the 21st century. But for sure, said a senior French NATO delegate, "NATO's credibility and future are at stake in Afghanistan."

TALIBAN UNLEASHED?
Pakistan has apparently thrown in the towel and ended its 5-year long military campaign by Pakistani soldiers and paramilitary
forces to clear terrorists and militants from the “fiercely independent” North Waziristan tribal region in mountainous
northwest Pakistan, on the Afgan border.
Under
a treaty signed on September 5, 2006 by a pro-Taliban representative, Azad Khan, and a government representative, attacks
by militants on Pakistani forces, representatives, pro-government tribal elders and journalists in the region will stop, as
will movement of armed jihadi forces across the border to Afghanistan. The Pakistan army will withdraw from the region, apparently reaffirming Waziristan’s nation-within-a-nation status.
No enforcement provisions were revealed.
The agreement
also includes an "implicit amnesty" to foreign and local militants including jihad hierarch Osama bin Laden, who is almost
certainly hiding somewhere along the nation’s long border with his al-Qaida gang. “He would not be taken into custody … if he agrees
to lead a "peaceful life." Associated

Pakistan is now seen to be giving al-Qaeda a virtual blank check internally and so, is once again revealed to be an epicenter
of world Islamist jihad. Will the Bush Doctrine finally be applied there, making no distinction between the terrorists and
those who harbor them?

to Arab Islamist theology, Islam means submission and peace means submission to Allah under Sharia, his eternally
divine law. "Peace" is attained only when one's attention is focused only on Allah, with all of ones heart, mind and
soul, and so, peace is only possible within the Dar al-Islam, the “House of Islam.” Only when the rest of the world, the Dar al-Harb, “House of War”
is subjugated under Islam will world peace be possible.
According
to all schools of Islam, it is the obligation of all Muslims to wage jihad, a continuous process of da'wa
(prostelytizing: call to embrace Islam) and futuhat (acts of "opening" the target culture to Islam) within a context
of psychological, political, economic and paramilitary struggle expressing Islamic jihad until the Dar al-Harb
is finally reduced to non-existence.
Infidels are Enemies

Jihad and Terrorism
Terrorism is psychological
warfare for the purpose of making non-Muslims afraid of Muslims, soften their resistance and prevent them from mounting a
real defense of their lands when Muslims later wage a full-scale war to colonize and subdue them.

JIHAD – "ONE OF THE NOBLEST ACTS"
Militant jihad or violence
is only undertaken for defensive purposes, such as when, following the death of their prophet, the Muslim jihadists defended
their way all the way from the Arabian Peninsula through Egypt and
North Africa and eastward to the borders of China, wiping out the indigenous cultures along the way. Those who resist
Islam are responsible for causing wars with Islam.
Jihad is "the crest of the summit of Islam.”
Abu Mus‘ab al-Zarqawi
"Jihad in the path of Allah
-- which consists of battling against unbelief, oppression, injustice, and those who perpetrate it
-- is the summit of Islam. This religion
arose through jihad and through jihad was its banner raised high.
It is one of the noblest acts, which
brings one closer to God."

“Unbelief” means exclusively non-Islamic beliefs.
"Oppression" describes the suffering of immigrant
Muslims who are expected to live by the same,
secular laws as the native kafirs “infidels/
unbelievers,"
and who are thus denied the peace and justice of Sharia.
“Injustice" describes the law in all cultures
not subjugated in obedience to the will and laws of Allah,
i.e., in the Dar al-Harb, including Western
democracies.
Hurriyya,
"freedom,” is "perfect slavery" under the will of Allah. Hurriyya
includes no notion of the rights of the subject people to exercise personal or political independence or to (necessarily)
share in the formation or conduct of government, notions that are the foundations of Western political thought.
Sharia
as described in the Qur'an, said to be the command of "god" recited directly to the "prophet," gives a complete
and final picture of social control, i.e., it lays down a moral, legal and political chart for ALL time for ALL humanity.
It contains everlasting, unchangeable legal "realities" in which human beings MUST rest and enable it to establish perfect
law by which human relations are to be ordered forever, free from the need of change. So, no change is permitted to what
has been recited to the "prophet" and recorded in the "holy" book of recitations.
TRUCE IS ONLY TEMPORARY
Refusal
to submit to Sharia is rebellion against Allah and the very existence of non-Muslim communities can be viewed as acts
of aggression against Muslim communities. The struggle to impose Sharia law in all lands of the Earth is unending until victory
is achieved and participation in jihad is an obligation of all Muslims under the law of Allah.
"O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness
… " (Qur’an 9:123)
Only when Muslim power is weak or disadvantaged is hudna, "temporary truce," permitted and only until
conditions are again favorable for renewed militancy. Truce is the opportunity for further preparations for a next phase
of "fast jihad" under the cover of the "slow jihad" of endless discussions, dialogue and negotiations; two-facedness,
double-dealing and diplomatic deceptions; sewing dissentions, creating provocations and seeking political

Following its confrontation with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in August, 2006, Hizbullah is reported to have enrolled
several thousand children of shahids (lit., witnesses, those who have been "martyred" in jihad) into armed youth militias.
These children, aged 10 – 15, educated from an early age to become martyrs in their youth, are being trained by Hizbullah-affiliated
“Madhi Boy Scouts,” an organization of over 42 thousand members. The

and bones of the population is the intended outcome of these jihad MOs! In one
village, a man was killed by a knife slitting his throat as four others had their noses and tongues cut off. In another village,
houses were set ablaze as the homesteaders were beaten in the streets. Near a mosque in a small town just north of the capitol
of Srinagar, at least 6 died as Islamists sprayed a police patrol with bullets. "These
foreign militants are ruthless," said a police officer.
