LEGISLATION
Our grassroots lobbying organizations have been very successful. Letter carriers in
the region have proven that they know the importance of a strong legislative network. The three State Presidents, George Mangold
of New York, Tony Massa of New Jersey and Joseph Mahon of Connecticut are to be commended for the outstanding job that they
are doing, organizing Congressional District Liaisons, as well as Branch COLCPE co-ordinators.
Special
recognition for the recruitment of Legislative Activists within the Region goes to Ernest Twomley (BR 36), Wilfred Landry
(BR 41), Rich Montesarchio (BR 693), Eileen Weese (BR 36), David Jendrzejewski (BR 38), Mark McGrady (BR 38), John Dock (BR
38) and Thomas Matthew (BR 6000).

CUSTOMER CONNECT
The
NBA or an RAA has attended every District Customer Connect kick-off, as well as every office kick-off. The NALC has a district
coordinator as well as an office coordinator in every workplace where Customer Connect has been introduced. I’d like
to commend the following for their efforts and commitment toward this program: Carmen Flores (BR 36), Mark McGrady (BR 38)
and John Dock (BR 38).
