GamePlan is a computer software package for game theory. It includes a main executable, a help system, and a library of examples. It is only available for Microsoft Windows-based systems (16 and 32 bit).
GamePlan was designed by Jean-Pierre Langlois, an applied mathematician at San Francisco State University. Further information about the author can be obtained at http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~langlois
GamePlan is a research as well as a teaching tool which has been used in several courses. Examples can be found at http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~langlois and at http://www.georgetown.edu/faculty/langloij These page contains several additional GamePlan files as well as lecture notes for Game Theory. One chapter of the lecture notes is devoted to the use of GamePlan.
If you are a not-for-profit user you can download a free GamePlan installer by clicking the Download button on the left of this page. The installer will install a demo version that is almost fully functional. It only lacks the ability to save new or edited game files. But since games need to be saved before solving, the demo does not allow solving any game other than the library examples.
To obtain a free license in order to experience all of GamePlan capabilities you will have to provide the User ID given by the installed demo. To obtain a free license for non-profit users go to the Registration page on this site.
Feedback on GamePlan is welcome and will be periodically displayed on this page together with any game file that authors wish to distribute.
