AFASA is a Kabiye women's organization devoted to helping village women become literate and have a better quality of life through health education and small economic development projects.

The Kabiye people are one of the 30 plus people groups in Togo. Many of them live in neighboring countries as well. Kabiye is also the name of their language and is spoken by over 1 million people.
