I took this picture of a wild coyote in the woods of WAY northern New Hampshire on August 30, 2000. My son Dan spotted Mr. Coyote as we drove a logging trail in four wheel drive in our Isuzu Trooper and I stopped and stalked back to get a bunch of pictures of him. Dan is very good at spotting game.

Note how much the coyote looks like the Black Backed Jackal of South Africa.
