This is a strange little African animal known as the Hyrax. In Africa they casually refer to them as "Dossies" (pronounced "Dussy") Rock Rabbits, etc. They are very friendly and look like they might make a nice pet. I took this picture on top of Table Mountain, overlooking Cape Town.
