He claims a mandate and intends to use it,

While our forces stream from the field,

Writing dispatches of fear, of hate, of sorrow.

Gird up your loins,

Adjust your sword, Strap your shield,

Guerrilla times have just begun.

Not street to street, but mind to mind,

Machiavelli’s theirs, I take the Christ,

Who died unknown, but shook the World,

Whose thoughts and words and deeds

Ring across two thousand years.

What you do for the least of your brothers,

You do for him.

Every American,

Every mind, every voice,

With ears to hear, with will to listen, with heart to feel,

Must be our goal.

Gird up your loins,

Grab your gauntlet, and your helm,

Speaking times have just begun.

With words and deeds we must anew

Show proof of worthiness and right.

Gnash and rend, and then stand up,

And take your place where you belong,

And put aside sad, woeful songs.

Time to stand and Witness,

Speaking for those without Voice:

Do unto others, as you would have others

do unto you.

Every American,

Every mind, every voice,

With ears to hear, with will to listen, with heart to feel,

Must be our goal.

Gird up your loins,

Lace your boots and lift your Cross,

Walking times have just begun.

Hand in hand to arm in arm,

Power comes from more than guns.

Take back Virtue, hold it strong,

And sing true moral value songs.

Time to stand and Witness,

Bringing inside those without.

What you do for the least of these,

You do for me.

Do not give up,

Do not fear, do not hate,

With ears to hear, with will to listen, with heart to feel,

We will prevail.
