Richard Davis is the current president of the Illini Skyriders.  Richard has been a long-time member of the club, and past newsletter editor.  Richard flies a Kolb Firestar.

Mick Schumacher is the  vice president of the Illini Skyriders.  Mick recently sold his single seat challenger and now is the proud owner of a two place Challenger kit.

Dan Grunloh Has been a member of the Illini Skyriders since the beginning of the club in early 1982.  Dan has served in several capacities over the years including being a past president and vice-president.  Dan has spent most of his time serving as club secretary and newsletter editor over the years and faithfully publishes the clubs monthly newsletter, Flight Forum.  Dans first ultralight was a Skypup which Dan built.  Dan now flies a Fun Racer Trike which he has a great deal of fun.

Lea Amdor is the Skyriders current treasurer.  A past President of the club, Lea has been busy with a number of projects.  Lea has owned and/or flown a variety of aircraft including a Fisher 202, a Kolb Mark III, the Zing, and now currently owns and flies a Luscombe, with which he has earned his pilots license.

Dave Patrick is the Safety Officer for the Skyriders.  Dave flies a Kitfox  which gives him hours of enjoyment.  Dave had owned a Kolb Fire Star II in which he logged a great deal of time.  One time Dave flew his Kolb up to 12,000 feet AGL to check out the view.  He assures us that it gets quite cold up there.
 
 

Web Editor/Historian

Michael Ostrander is the web editor and the 'general doer of stuff.'  Mike is a former president of the Illini Skyriders.  A member since 1994, Mike owns and flies a Quicksilver MX ultralight.  Mike's accomplishments include Honorable Mention for his MX at Oshkosh '94 and Reserve Grand Champion at Oshkosh '97.  Mike keeps his MX in an enclosed trailer and assembles his plane prior to flight.  While this is time-consuming, his plane certainly gets a thorough pre-flight.  Mike also maintains a archive of all the club newsletters that have been published over the past 21 + years.
