I've been fly tying for about 10 years now, but you'd never know it.  My Royal Coachmen still look like hell.
I have  created a few flys that are fairly unique and workfor me.   Here are some of them.

Diz's sunrise.
Named for my father it's a cross between a Rat-Faced McDougal or Irresistibleand a deer hair bass bug.  It's taken several species including trout,largemouth and bream.

The Substitute Muddler
Designed along the lines of a Muddler Minnow, I had to substitute almosteverything in the pattern.
But it works on bass and pan fish.  I've even used in in Troutwater.   I tie it with a synthetic hair head and also a versionwith a Deer Hair diving  swimming collar.

The White Spider
By Carl Hanson and Lane "Smitty" Smith.  The only thing you cansay about this fly is "it works!"  I've taken a ton of bream on thisfly.  I've seen it take a few Bass to. While it's traditionally allwhite, I like to give it some color.   Red belt, yellow tail. Gray body Red belt, Yellow tail and legs (The confederate General) or Orange legs.
