Welcome To My Cash In The Attic Tribute Page

From the shores of Great Britian, comes a show that is very entertaining and a learning experience. Alistair Appleton host this charming show. With the help of two appraisers, Jonty Hearnden and Paul Hayes,  they rummage through attics , basements, sheds and garages to find hidden treasures.

From treasures that have been handed down to objects some people found in the garbage they   probe and find the most collectable to sell at auction.

Why look for treasures to sell?

Most sell things in order to take a trip, buy a second car or to expand their house. They will convert an attic to another room or just to clear out space for more treasures.

I stumbled across this show on BBC America. Having enjoyed other antique shows (Antique Roadshow for one), I watched and fell in love with the whole idea. Seeing their faces as they discover that an object their great Aunt left them, and they thought hideous, was worth a great amount of money.

Although sometimes the estimates miss their mark, they sell to low, sometimes they go way over. It all depends on if the buyers are interested in what is being sold.

What's New?

I will update as soon as I find out any new information.
